The film is part of a reportage on the military parade which took place in the centre of Bucharest on the 10th of May, 1897, on the occasion of Romania's National Day. His Majesty the King Carol I rides to the Royal Palace, escorted by his General Staff and by the foreign military attachés. This if the first surviving film shot in Romania (the first “Romanian view” which was saved).
