In septembrie 1895 Cosman Hr. V., carciumar, cu domiciliul in Str Trinatatii Nr. 54 deschide un restaurant numit "Restaurantul V. HR. Cosma", localul aflandu-se pe Str. Sarindar Nr. 4. Cladirea in care se afla restaurantul era proprietatea Dl. Cosman si a fost proaspat ridicata in acelasi an.

Cosman Hr. V a avut la sfarsit de secol XIX mai multe restaurante deschise in Bucuresti sub propriul nume: Cosma Hr. V., Str Academiei Nr. 14 si Str. Smardan Nr. 11 in perioada 1885-1889, <ref>Anuarul Bucurescilor pe 1885-1889</ref> si Restaurantul/gradina Cosma care se afla pe Str. Regala Nr. 3.<ref>Lupta : Ziar liberal-oposiţionist, 11, nr. 2429, 1 noiembrie 1892</ref> <ref>Anuarul Bucurescilor pe anul 1904/05</ref> <ref>Anuarul Bucurescilor pe anul 181891-95</ref>

Restaurantul din Str. Regala Nr. 3 se muta in 1895 pe Str. Sarindar Nr. 4 in noua cladire.

In 1911 proprietatea se afla sub stapanirea unui anume I. Niculescu. In acelasi an aici va functiona "Restaurantul Botez", iar in 1913, in acelasi local se a deschide [[Restaurantul Modern]].
